Goa .... Heaven

It was on 24th , yesterday... I got up early for morning walk. Got ready , was thinking whether I shud wear sweater. But I like to wear it thts y I wore n came out. N what a site….!! Aquem had drowned in the fog. It made me feel really cool , nice and heaven like. For nearly half an hour I was walking through the fog , well at some places I cud literally feel the dew falling on my face … I could hardly see anything ahead..

I have always been a fan of winter. I love to sleep with my gojdi, with fan on full speed even in winters…… Actually all these days temperature had increased in Goa , so I was sad… no more winter , no sweater , no cool breeze , no shivering , no cold cream ……… I was very happy yesterday .

On the way to panjim , in the bus I was just admiring Goa and white beauty….. The site on the bridge was amazing ! Our bus was moving with either sides having literally white curtains !! It was beautiful and I was trying not even to blink my eyes n save everything in my memory…. Don’t mind to see Goa as Heaven always….. will love it

My friend had mailed me this video . I saw it and it was one of the most amazing things i had ever seen... really touching and proving that everyone has a kind heart..... even a dangerous leopard who never feels pity for anyone..............

I just thought i should share it with everyone......

This leopard who is hungry for any creatures blood....... finds a female baboon who is pregnant and hence helpless ......... attacks and kills her.
But while dragging the female baboon , the mother delivers this tiny thing... which is damn cute.. unknown of the fact that its mother is killed by leopard ....

But as soon as leopard sees the baby baboon , you can actually observe the change of emotions......... from cruelness .. to motherly affection....!! Leopard leaves the hunted mother and starts taking care of the newborn baboon. A must watch guys.... !

FOOD....... well Indian food.....

Food ... this is not only one of the requirements required for living...... but my most important requirement or you can say was my requirement..........



I was crazy about food ... Indian food .. Goan food !! Cmon its so delicious and made with full heart , with all ghee like stuff or whatever that makes it soooo yummy n mouthwatering , one can't stay away form it. As i used to do.!! But now I am on diet. Yes I am doing dieting.. not because I am fat (that's 1 reason actually ) but because I have more fat in my body(you know i came to know some ppl are fat because they have more water in their body..!)

For about 3 months I followed the so called diet.... well I was not following the typical ghaas phoos diet. Just avoiding oil , ice-cream (that was tough) and chocolates .!! and doing little bit of walking in morning...

But today dad took us in restaurant and I decided 'ek din mein kya ho jayega!! ;-)'

I really felt like I had food after days... no months....... wow. It was delicious. (Well you know the new restaurant opposite KTC bus stand..TAVIR?? same one... must try. I mean better in margao...!!! )

We had sweet corn chicken soup , chicken lolipop and chicken something something.. kabab to start with. Then we ordered chicken dum biryani and xacuti (that was really damn gud ya). (M I exaggerating..? May be)

Well you know I don't mind talking about food ya.. about fish ..oh that's my weak point..! I thank God that I grew up in Goa.

ME

I am Namrata Ramkrishna Shenvi Khandeparkar. What a long name......... Rite from the 1st day of my school my name was the unique one in attendance register .. The only name not fitting on one line n had pushed my surname to the next line...I am One of its own kind ... sounds weird...?? Whats weird?? Everyone on this earth is distinct and unique ya ... we dont see it because we like to be like others... look like others , dress like others isnt it?

Well I am not totally not like what i mentioned above , ...even i like to copy somtimes... But i prefer to be different . Do something different , so that I am noticed among all similar ones. If everyone is doing same thing , I will think of what different i can do?

I have strong belief in my dreams. I know some or the other day i will make them come true . Thts the difference again ... I wont wait for them to come true. .... I like to dream ... sometimes things which are impossible but belive me ... they have come true later i my life. Actually I never thought i will write so much on this topic u know.. but see if u try nothing is impossible...!
And you wont belive it but i wanna write more. But thats enough . This is my first post, so i dont wanna bore any1.( even me )

Picnic by the Yoga group

I had created this blog ages ago...... but never bothered to write anythn n now i m bothered... he he

Never mind ..........
Well one day my uncle(Parid kaka) told me that they (yoga grp) have organised a picnic in the Nagesh Love Forest located at gudi paroda, Goa. What a lovely place to see................ you tend forget sometimes that you live in a city... Nature is so close to human here......... The entire mountainous area, the fields around , coconut trees makes a person belive that Goa has still some nature oriented places.............

We started from home at 8 in mornin... Though i m not a part of the Yoga grp , i ws involved . We reached a place where every1 had gatherd (starting point).. There was no bus... instead every1 had gt their cars ....I was totally surprised to see large grp of enthusiastic aged people compared to othr age grps... We started n by 8.30 we were at the entrance of Nagesh Forest.

I was very excited about the events told us that day............ we had trecking to start with.. which was really exciting. I thought the aged grp people will remain down.. n we will be climbing up the hill , but the first person to start was a 80years old lady. I was shocked..... !! Going up the hill was tiring .. it has real steep slope.. and coming down was more tough.. all pebbles trying to make sure that we fall down at each step. ;) oops

Then we had rope flying and rappling . I got scared in the start.. I have heightophobia . got damn scared.. but then after trying once it was fun... Next we had rain dance .... this was really coooool. Our stomachs were empty... but who cared , all were dancing.




We had soup and lunch. It was good. Then we tried shooting , played volley ball . The Nagesh Forest Owner had organised few games for all. In short this picnic was full dhamaal package.
